Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions patients and referring providers ask most.

Is Spravato covered by insurance?

Yes. Spravato is FDA-approved and covered by most major commercial plans and Medicare when criteria are met. We handle all prior authorizations in-house.

How many TMS sessions do I need?

Standard TMS is 36 sessions, 5 days/week over 6–7 weeks. Each session is about 20 minutes. Most patients notice improvement by weeks 3–4.

What is the difference between Spravato and IV Ketamine?

Spravato is FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray, administered in-office with 2-hour monitoring, and covered by insurance. IV Ketamine is a physician-supervised infusion, typically self-pay, with similar rapid-acting effects for depression and PTSD.

Is TMS safe? Are there side effects?

TMS is non-invasive and FDA-cleared. The most common side effects are mild scalp discomfort and headaches that resolve within the first week of treatment. No sedation, no downtime, and you can drive yourself home after every session.

Do I need a referral to book?

No. You can schedule directly with our team. If you have a primary care provider or outside psychiatrist, we’re happy to coordinate care with them.

Where are you located?

Gilbert, AZ — serving Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, and the greater Phoenix area.

Do you accept referrals from other providers?

Yes. We handle all prior authorizations for TMS and Spravato and coordinate care so referring providers remain the primary treating clinician. See our For Providers page for the referral form.

What should I expect at my first IV Ketamine infusion?

Sessions last 45–60 minutes in a monitored clinical environment. Some patients experience mild dissociative effects that resolve quickly after the infusion ends. You’ll need a ride home.
